Choreographers, dance teachers, and dance artists have come together in support of the efforts to end racism. Dance is a universal language that everyone can embrace regardless of race, age, disability, gender, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. Today we take a stand as we dance: embrace unity, equality, and justice for all who have faced racism in its many forms. All lives cannot matter until Black Lives Matter! . All classes will take place via Zoom and the suggested donation for the day is £10 with all the proceeds going to The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.
3PM: Guided improv class enabled through technology. This is using a custom web app running directly from your computer (Chrome + webcam needed) .
6PM: STRINGS, a live-streamed and interactive performance where the dancer is wearing electronic devices reacting to the collective actions of the audience.
